According to Council Regulation (EU) 2026/382, the European Union will officially abolish the customs duty exemption for low-value imported parcels valued at €150 or below starting July 1, 2026, and introduce an interim fixed customs duty of €3 per item.

To help sellers navigate the policy change smoothly and minimize customs clearance risks, YunExpress will implement the following service updates:

1. Shipments signed into the YunExpress system before 09:00 (Beijing Time, UTC+8) on June 26, 2026
- Current pricing remains unchanged.
- No temporary surcharge or customs duty charge will apply.

2. Shipments signed into the YunExpress system between 09:00 on June 26 and 09:00 on June 29, 2026
- For shipments destined for Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Poland, Austria, Portugal, and Denmark, an Emergency Operations Surcharge of CNY 20 per kilogram will apply.
- For shipments destined for the remaining 16 EU destination countries, an Emergency Operations Surcharge of CNY 25 per kilogram will apply.
- The €3 per item interim customs duty will be fully waived.
The duty waiver applies regardless of whether customs clearance is completed before or after July 1, 2026.

3. Shipments signed into the YunExpress system after 09:00 on June 29, 2026
- The interim customs duty of €3 per item will apply.
- The Emergency Operations Surcharge will no longer be charged.

To help sellers take advantage of the remaining pre-reform window, YunExpress has coordinated additional air freight capacity, including charter flight resources, to prioritize EU-bound shipments and maximize the opportunity for customs clearance before July 1, 2026.

We strongly encourage sellers to prepare inventory and arrange shipments as early as possible.
